Bridget Urmanski

After only a few trips to Charlottesville to visit family, Bridget, her husband and two daughters fell in love with the area and made the decision to move from Wisconsin in 2006. Her background includes a Bachelors degree in Graphic Arts from the University of Wisconsin, years working in the printing industry and as an executive recruiter.

When Bridget and her husband Paul moved to Charlottesville they opened Oil & Vinegar in Barracks Road Shopping Center. They sold the business in 2016 so Bridget could pursue her career in real estate and her husband could return to building. Together they have personally purchased and renovated several homes.

Bridget’s experience enables her to visualize how small changes can transform a home. Her client dedication and love of helping others are what motivate her most.

Bridget considers Virginia home; however, she remains a loyal fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers! In her free time, she is busy cooking, reading, watching home renovations on HGTV and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters.

“We moved from Europe to the US and Bridget Urmanski has done an outstanding job finding us a great home to live in. She has been extremely helpful with advising us on where to live and also by arranging house tours using FaceTime. When we moved here she helped us by showing us the neighborhoods and last but not least, when we ended up buying our house she was very supportive and led us through the entire process. We are really thankful to Bridget, as she has found us the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood.”

“My husband and I recommend working with Bridget Urmanski for buying a home and selling. When we were looking for a home all I had to do was give Bridget a list of what we were looking for and she was right on it. As opposed to other agents I worked with, with them I felt I was always finding the house and asking them to get me in to see it. Not so with Bridget. She took our needs and ran with them and found us an amazing beautiful house.
As far as selling, Bridget really works hard, she is constantly having an open house to get people in. We feel she has our back and we trust her opinion. Buying and selling are very stressful times, but Bridget with her expertise, helps to alleviate those stresses.”

“Hi Bridget, I just want to take a moment to thank you for the incredible job you did for me. The way you staged my home with what I had, made all the difference in opening up the space and flowing beautifully. All the suggestions you gave me also worked to sell my home in one day! Way to go Bridget! I am so happy.”

“Bridget took lots of time to help us hone in on what we wanted in a house. When something came available that fit perfectly with our goals, she contacted us immediately and gave us the tools and strategies to make that house our new home! Our young son also looked forward to her engagement with him each time we toured a house.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed working with Bridget to find our first place to call home. She helped make the process fun and exciting as she tailored our search to our exact needs. Two years later and we are still incredibly thankful for our home that has become a perfect fit.”

“When we decided to sell our family home I contacted Bridget. The whole process was quick and very easy for us as the seller. Bridget was very knowledgeable about property value in the area and we ended up with over asking. The home sold within a few days and I couldn’t have been happier! Thank you Bridget for all your hard work. I will definitely contact you with any future real estate needs.”

“Let me start by saying I recommend Bridget Urmanski to everyone I know in the area who’s looking to buy a home.  I came here without my family and without knowing anything about the area after retiring from the Army. Bridget was very patient and understanding of my situation. I had to find something to suit my family which would also make my wife happy when they joined me after the school year ended at my last duty station. Bridget did everything she could to make sure our transition to Virginia happened as painlessly as possible. She was never pushy, impatient, or inconsiderate. Bridget was a consummate professional at all times and was so much more than just a real estate agent.

Having owned homes in Wisconsin and two other states I’ve had some experience working with real estate agents. Where Bridget stands apart from all the others is her professionalism, her knowledge of the area, and her willingness to go out of her way to find answers to questions my wife and I had. Bridget knew a lot about the school system, sports programs for my kids, and had a strong general knowledge of the area.

Lastly, and most importantly, when we found our home the offer writing and everything involved with it went very smoothly. Bridget helped me find a terrific local home inspector and dependable local septic inspection/care company which we still use.”

“Bridget- There are so many ways to describe her. She was always eager to solve any problems. She takes away the stress of selling your residence. She would always call to help with good ideas and hints. I loved working with her-even when she is busy she  always has time for you. She solved many issues that I had in selling my house.  A really great lady who understood the stresses a person could have.”

“We were so fortunate to have Bridget handle the sale of our house this past March/April 2020. Even before we agreed to list it with her, she did all the checking of listings, pricing and sales occurring in our neighborhood. Through her networking, it was under contract within ten days. She definitely went above and beyond the norm to complete the sale. We have sold quite a few properties in our lifetime and have never had a better realtor. We are offering the highest recommendation possible for her services.”
