Christine Lisle, Referring Agent
Christine began her “first career” in Denver, Colorado, where she worked as a CPA at Pricewaterhouse Coopers after her graduation from UCLA. It was also there that she met her husband, who was attending medical school at the University of Colorado. Upon his graduation, the couple went from the big mountains to smaller mountains when they began their life in Charlottesville, where he is now a general surgeon at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
“Before we knew it, we had fallen in love with this place,” she said. “We were amazed that it had so much to offer, from the natural beauty and outdoor activities like hiking and biking to the history, the wineries, the restaurants, boutique shopping, theater/art galleries, concerts, college sporting events and more. We quickly realized it was the best of both worlds — a small town with big town amenities.”
Before long Christine was not only enjoying the perks of Charlottesville life, she was sharing the message with a growing list of clients in what quickly became a highly successful real estate career. The more she learned, she said, the more she realized that there was a distinct opportunity, for her to mirror her husband’s career arc in one important way. She decided to become a specialist.
“As I continued in my real estate career and at the same time became more attuned to the special demands on the lives of medical professionals, I became aware that there was a great opportunity for these two worlds to come together. I had sold houses to a number of contacts in the medical world and began to realize how much I enjoyed working with them and how much they appreciated working with someone who truly understands their needs. The White Coat Real Estate Team grew out of this realization, and I have loved every minute of it.”
Christine and her husband, Dr. Turner Lisle, live in Downtown Charlottesville with their daughter, Olivia, and two Weimaraners, Macy & Addie. In her spare time, she enjoys the sporting life here, playing tennis and golf and working out at ACAC.
